Graduate and Skilled Visas

If you wish to live and work in Australia on an extended basis, there is a range of permanent and temporary visas if you have the skills Australia needs.

International graduates may be eligible for a Temporary Graduate visa, allowing stays of 2 – 6 years. Many applicants successfully use this period to transition onto a permanent migration pathway.

If you have skills that are in shortage in Australia, you may also be eligible for one of the points-tested visas under the General Skilled Migration program. These visas require an invitation from a State, Territory or the Department of Home Affairs, which are usually issued to those with the highest points.

You would need a positive skills assessment and have a competent standard of English. To be considered for an invitation, applicants must first submit an Expression of Interest (EOI), and gain the nomination of a State or Territory in some cases.

We can help assess your eligibility to find the most suitable visa stream for your circumstances. Our staff have direct personal experience of the General Skilled Migration program and how it has evolved over the years, allowing us to provide a comprehensive service including organising skills assessments, applying for State/Territory nomination, making EOI submissions and more.
